Back to school with Barbour
We’re *almost* back to school. GG is this week, The Boy is next week – well, staggered over three weeks but we’re getting there! We’re sorted with school bags, shoes, plimsols, trainers & uniform (thanks Mum & Dad!) and in a twist of organisational fate, we even have winter coats sorted.
Not just any winter coat, oh no. We have Barbour coats. Not too shabby eh?
The Boy has chosen the Skipsea Quilted Jacket in Navy & GG went for the Artic Parker in Warm Cinder.
The Skipsea is inspired by the popular menswear jacket, it’s warm but lightweight – perfect for little boys who don’t actually sit still long enough to get cold…! Made with a fabric outer quilt with microfibre down & a cotton tartan lining. It has toggles as well as a hidden zip and comes with a removable hood. The toggles are just the right size for little hands who want to be independent enough to do their coats up, I’d imagine it will keep the teachers happy when there are 30 coats to help with at playtime!
The Artic Parker is seriously built for winter. It’s a longer length coat (perfect for my little giraffe) and also comes with a detachable hood (with fake fur trim) biker patch pockets, fabric belt and a zip and snap close front. Available in two colours, Navy & the champagne colour GG went for.
Both coats are absolutely gorgeous. They feel sturdy, tough even, and I know they’re going to last us all winter & even through the snow that will (probably) hit us around Dec/Jan. I almost don’t want the kids to grow much more so they’ll fit for a few winters but I know that’s not going to happen! I am also insanely jealous that they have Barbour coats – I mean, come on!
Both coats are available from the Babour site and cost between £99.95 & £169.99.
