Back to School – Lunch!
Next up on my list, lunch boxes! I am *such* a fussy parent when it comes to this. I hate, HATE cartoon lunch boxes – thankfully the kids feel the same (except Spiderman, he always seems to sneak through) but looking round the general supermarkets it would seem that kids have to have cartoon lunch boxes! Either that, or plastic ones that don’t have enough room or compartments. I hate it when they come home with yogurt smeared over everything, crisps crushed into every corner possible & half the lunch mushed up in a sandwich bag. The school that both my darlings now go to don’t allow any drinks other than water in the lunches either, so we need boxes big enough for water bottles as well as everything else!
Step in Pink Lining Child. Now, I’ve always loved their changing bags, I remember clearly spending at least 2 hours trying to decide which design I should go for when I had The Boy (it had been on my list of things I wanted when I got pregnant!) so when I saw the new range of goodies for kids, I was very happy! They’re now doing mini rucksacks, overnight bags, satchels, cases and lunch boxes to name a few! And…. no cartoon rubbish!
The Boy was sent a fab Dino lunch box, which we both LOVE! The box is insulated, has a simple zip open with an elasticated loop for said water bottles, as well as a mesh pocket to separate some food. It’s roomy enough to fit a couple of tupperware dishes in there and it’s not full of nooks and crannies that will get grubby. Plus, it’s one of the coolest lunch boxes we’ve seen!
The full range is available here, with lunch boxes starting at £12.50.
