Scooter Love
My two LOVE their micro scooters. Like, proper love. If we’re walking anywhere, then you can guarantee they are on them. I don’t mind too much because it means I don’t have to push/carry the lump that is the dude. He’s just under 3 stone now, that’s a serious workout when you add padded coats, boots, gloves, hats and scarves. And he’s never been one to “hold on” he just flops and expects you to do all the hard work. Such a man….
Anyway.
We scoot home from school when we can, it burns off some calories (me) and energy (them) and gets us all some much needed fresh air, but now the clocks have gone back & winter is well and truly here, the 4pm scoot has become a bit dodgy. Mainly because I can’t bloody see where they are when they go too far ahead, and if I can’t see them, then cars can’t, which makes for one nervous wreck of a mother. Step in Scoot Beamz. They very kindly sent me two (thank god because I can’t handle another argument!) lights for their scooters, green for the dude, pink for GG. They fit both the micro and the maxi and they’re so easy to fit, velcro and wrap, away you go. There are a couple of light options, flashing slow, flashing fast, solid on & off. BRILLIANT! The battery is replaceable but lasts up to 50 hours so should be enough to see us through to spring at least, and they’re reflective without the lights being on anyway. (They fit all scooters by the way, not just Micro)
£6.99 and available in pink, green, blue & yellow, they are def worth it for peace of mind, and as GG says, blinging up the scooters. Course. Click here to buy.
(I did try and get my own images but apparently you can’t possibly stand still when you’re on a scooter, how silly of me…!)
