Big plans baby!

By Katie — December 05, 2012

We all know how much I love a plan!

The man and I have been busy working away on a new business idea, we have a logo designed (seriously in love with the logo!) we have a site domain & we have a website builder (waves to Jo!). So all we need now is the work. Which, fingers crossed, will come along soon! I’m quite excited at the whole idea & have big plans for it! I just need to keep the PMA up, I’m not so good at that. New Years resolution maybe? I’ve also learnt not to be such a ‘flake’ in certain work situations, my business, my rules. Also something I need to work on keeping up….! I’ll be doing a big reveal soon, but it’s all under wraps for a bit longer, don’t want to jinx anything! It’s been in the pipeline for a while, it’s just taken us a bit longer than expected to actually get going with it, but, like a dog with a bone, once I have an idea in my head, I like to get it completed. I can’t stand it when it’s all talk and no trousers. Or action. Or just general laziness!

I’m really not the type of person who ever feels ‘content’ – there’s always something else I’m striving for, something that needs changing or replacing, or just doing in general, but lately I’ve been working on feeling calmer & more relaxed about things. The yoga must be working it’s magic, that, or the husband is drugging me while I’m asleep. Everything will happen eventually, and as I keep telling GG, if you rush it, you’ll have nothing to look forward to! (This doesn’t mean I want pearls of crappy advice though! – Never appreciated, ever!) I have plenty of plans and ideas, I’m just not in a rush to get them all done this instant. Don’t get me wrong, I still want them done ASAP but that’s an improvement for me! You should ask the poor husband how impatient I can be, I’m sure he has a whole load of stories…In fact, if he’s reading this, he’s probably rolling his eyes and thinking something with a couple of rude words in it.

So I suppose what I’m saying is, life is good, and this quote from William Arthur Ward is pretty spot on for me. I need to frame it.

You can so do this. I know it. I'm with you though, I'm going to print out that quote and stick it on my wall infront of my computer...then next year I'm going to achieve my dream. Thanks Madam and good luck - I know you'll win!
