Thursday was FAB! We didn’t manage to get there in time to see the Circus at 6pm but we did get a chance to hit all the rides we wanted to (well, I failed to have any willing volunteers to go on the fast/high rides with me – I really need to train the dude up to like them) we saw Santa walking around, and we did some serious celeb spotting! Noel Gallagher & family, his wife is stunning & his son is the spitting image of him, Nell McAndrew’s kids refused to go down the helter skelter so there was a bit of a traffic jam up there, Gaby Roslin & family were following us round a mirror maze, Joey from Eastenders, a boy band of some description (don’t ask me who) and GG’s fave, Vanessa from The Saturdays! – Never heard her scream quite like it!

The atmosphere was even more festive than last year, music & lights always seem to add to the effect, and it was quite chilly too, perfect. The Ice Kingdom was absolutely bloody freezing, obviously, so when we came out it almost felt warm! German bratwurst hotdogs, mulled wine, caramel nuts, literally in heaven!

The kids loved it, we loved it & it really kicked off the start of Christmas for us. I’m now looking around the flat wondering where I can put some fairy lights….!
