There is nothing I love more than waking up on a Saturday morning, in my king size bed, knowing that we don’t all have to get up and go into full on rush mode. There is no need for speed with breakfast, we’re not all fighting over getting into the bathroom first, I don’t need to scream at the kids a million times to “hurry up!” “find your shoes” “where is your lunchbox!?” they can take as long as they like to eat their breakfast, and they can even have the TV on while they’re doing it. (It’s their weekend too)

There is no train to catch for the husband, no desk to sit at for the day, the whole thing is just so much nicer than a weekday morning don’t you agree?

Being in bed is where I like being a lot. Snuggled up in a huge, fluffy duvet, cotton sheets and loads of pillows, I could honestly spend all day there if I was allowed! When Bedstar sent me a new king size duvet to try out, I was quite excited as we’d been talking about getting a new duvet for a while, perfect timing again! It’s a nice, thick duvet, I think it’s 10.5 tog, and it’s got that “puffy” feel that I like. I hate duvets that feel like thin sheets of cardboard, but I also can’t stand those ones full of feathers, with the points sticking into you like random needle shots through the night. Perfect for winter & cold nights (actually, I’d quite like the evenings to get a bit colder now, it is November after all) and perfect for making me want to stay in bed that little bit longer on a weekend.
