The Mr and I are off on a mini date tonight, the first one for a long time (I can’t actually remember the last date night we had, that’s not a good sign is it?)

We’re dropping the kids off with their Grandparents & we’re sneaking off for some dinner & a little bit of Bond Action, sadly just on the screen but at least it’s the big screen eh? Dinner will be un-interupted, I won’t need to cut anyones food up (unless the hubs is having cutlery issues but I can’t see that happening) and we may even get to have a quick alcoholic drink! Can’t have too many as I’m doing a bit of a detox / healthy living plan and we’re staying with the in laws tonight, drunk Kate is a very loud Kate!

I won’t have any of the lovely pamper time pre-date, I’ll be doing the school run, packing some bags, taking GG to swimming club & I’ll probably spend more time doing her hair than my own, but throw in a little extra make up & my sexy new undies from Panache, even if I’m still wearing skinnies I like to know that underneath is a little bit special for date night, and  I know the hubs appreciates it…!

I still need to work on my eyeliner flicks, I don’t quite have the fluid line sorted yet, so it’s a toss up between that or red lips, a few squirts of the favourite perfume and I think we’re good to go. Even if Daniel Craig doesn’t appreciate the effort I’m pretty sure the man will.

We really should have more of these date nights. Once a month seems reasonable doesn’t it?
